Description
Rainbow Kids Care is looking for warm, responsible, and professional babysitters to support international families traveling in Japan.
We welcome experienced sitters who are passionate about caring for children and creating meaningful experiences during their stay.
Our mission is to provide safe, fun, and memorable experiences for children, while giving parents peace of mind and the freedom to enjoy their time in Japan.
We believe that babysitting is not just supervision, but also an opportunity to make the sitting time itself a special part of a family’s memories in Japan.
As a Rainbow Kids Care babysitter, you will provide childcare at hotels, Airbnbs, or accompany families to sightseeing spots and theme parks. Your role goes beyond supervision, as you will create engaging, safe, and memorable experiences for children, while helping families enjoy their trip smoothly. In some cases, you may also support with simple directions, light translations, or small tasks to make sightseeing easier for families.

Responsibilities
Provide attentive and loving care for children while parents are away
Create a safe and stimulating environment tailored to the child’s needs
Engage children in games, crafts, reading, and fun activities
Accompany children to parks, museums, or theme parks
Support with meals, diaper changes, bedtime, and bath routines if needed
Light housekeeping (tidying play areas, cleaning spills, washing dishes after meals)
Respect family customs and values
Communicate with parents, providing updates and photos when requested

Required:
Valid working visa in Japan (Japanese national, Permanent Resident, Long-term Resident, Spouse/Child of Japanese, Spouse/Child of Permanent Resident etc.)
Native or fluent English (other languages are a plus)
At least 3 years of professional childcare experience|
Certified Nursery Teacher or Government-Approved Babysitter Training Certificate
Clean background check
Non-smoker
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Availability for at least 6 months
CPR and First Aid certification (not required at the time of application, support available)
Preferred:
Japanese language ability
Additional languages such as French, Spanish, German, Mandarin, Korean, etc.
Knowledge of sightseeing spots in Tokyo and other major cities
Flexibility to work on weekdays, weekends, and holidays
Employment Status:
Commission contract
