Hello and welcome to Japan!
My name is Mio, and I am an experienced babysitter and travel nanny based in Osaka.

I have cared for children of all ages, from newborns to elementary school kids, in both Japan and Australia. While living in Melbourne, I worked as a babysitter for over eight families, helping with daily routines, outdoor play, and fun outings to playgrounds, friends’ homes, and theme parks. I always make sure children feel safe, relaxed, and happy while enjoying their time.

I also have experience as a traveling nanny, supporting a lovely family during a three week trip to Korea. I took care of the children throughout the journey, visiting museums and parks, helping with meals, bedtime, and daily routines. The mother told me, “You are like a second mother to them, we are like family now.” That was one of the happiest moments of my life.

I am from Hiroshima and spent four years in Kyoto for university before moving to Australia, where I discovered my passion for childcare. I truly love spending time with children, their smiles and energy always brighten my day, and I am dedicated to giving that same joy back to them.

I am very respectful and open to different cultures, and I love sharing the fun and unique sides of Japanese culture with kids. Even if we spend only a short time together, I always do my best to build a warm and trusting connection.
