About Me

Hi! I’m Jade from Kanagawa.
For over 18 years, I have been involved in professional and volunteer work in Africa, where I supported deaf children and their families by teaching and using sign language to help them communicate with greater confidence.
I currently work part-time at a daycare center for children with special needs and have experience supporting children with ADHD, ASD, communication difficulties, and challenges they may face at school. I also have experience in psychotherapy and especially value supporting children who may be struggling emotionally or socially, including those who have experienced bullying.
When caring for children, I always try to create a warm, safe, and accepting environment where each child feels heard, understood, and valued. I also enjoy incorporating Montessori-inspired approaches, encouraging children’s independence, curiosity, and individual strengths at their own pace.
My favorite activities with children include sign language, dancing, arts and crafts, drawing, singing, and eurhythmics. I love finding activities that match each child’s personality and interests while making our time together enjoyable and meaningful.
I would be very happy to support your family during your stay in Japan and help make your child feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while creating wonderful memories together.Ages Supported
