Welcome to Rainbow Kids Care.

By booking our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Disclose all relevant child-related information (allergies, medical conditions, etc.)
• Provide a safe environment
• Treat babysitters with respect
• Provide necessary childcare items and clear instructions

Clients are ultimately responsible for decisions regarding their child(ren)’s care.

Clients acknowledge that normal childcare activities may involve minor and unavoidable risks, even under appropriate supervision.

Nature of Services

Rainbow Kids Care operates as a coordination and referral service connecting families with independent babysitters.

We carefully select sitters and provide ongoing support; however, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or individual performance.

Babysitters introduced by Rainbow Kids Care are independent service providers and are not employees of Rainbow Kids Care.

Service Availability and Unforeseen Circumstances

While we make every effort to fulfill confirmed bookings, there may be rare situations (including but not limited to illness, emergencies, or transportation disruptions) where a babysitter becomes unavailable.

We will attempt to arrange a replacement where possible.

However, we do not guarantee replacement and are not responsible for any external costs, including missed activities, reservations, or tickets.

Booking Time Policy

Each booking day is treated as an independent and fixed time block.

• Booked hours are fixed and cannot be transferred or carried over to another day
• Unused or reduced hours are non-refundable and cannot be applied to another booking

Example:
If Day 1 is shortened, those unused hours cannot be added to Day 2.

Changes and Rescheduling

• Extensions are subject to availability and additional fees
• Shortened bookings are not refundable
• Rescheduling may be treated as cancellation
• Changes within 6 hours of the start time are generally not permitted

Same-Day Extensions

• Must be requested at least 30 minutes before the scheduled end time
• Subject to babysitter availability
• Payment must be completed before the session ends
• Additional time is charged in 30-minute increments

If the client returns later than agreed, additional fees will apply.

Fees and Additional Costs

Clients are responsible for:

• Babysitter transportation costs (train or taxi)
• Babysitter admission fees (theme parks, museums, etc.)
• Activity-related expenses
• Late-night taxi fees (if applicable)

Meals and Expenses

• Clients must provide funds if the babysitter purchases food for the child
• Babysitter meals are optional, but when dining together at restaurants, clients are expected to cover the babysitter’s meal

Service Termination

Services may be terminated immediately without refund if:

• The babysitter is placed in an unsafe or inappropriate situation
• Harassment or unreasonable requests occur

Non-Circumvention

Clients may not hire, engage, or solicit babysitters introduced by Rainbow Kids Care outside of our service.

Doing so voids all protections, insurance coverage, and service guarantees and may result in additional fees.

Limitations of Liability

Rainbow Kids Care is not responsible for:

• Babysitter unavailability
• Service interruptions beyond our reasonable control
• Indirect or consequential losses

Rainbow Kids Care shall not be held liable for any losses, costs, or damages arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Cancellation Policy

• More than 7 days before the service: Full refund
• 7 days to 48 hours before the service: 50% cancellation fee
• Within 48 hours of the service: 100% cancellation fee

Emergency Situations

Parents will be contacted immediately in case of emergency.

If necessary, medical care will be arranged. All related costs are the responsibility of the client.

Insurance

Rainbow Kids Care maintains insurance coverage; however, clients are strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel insurance.

Force Majeure

Rainbow Kids Care is not responsible for disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, transportation issues, or government actions.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
