About Me
I’m Yuri, 26 years old, from Tokyo. I studied childcare for four years at university and obtained licenses as a nursery school and kindergarten teacher.
I lived in the U.S. for two years as an au pair, caring for my host family’s baby from six months to 30 months old. We spent time at playgrounds, water parks, libraries, and nature centers! On my host parents’ date nights, we had fun with bubble baths.
Before becoming an au pair, I worked as a nursery school teacher and babysitter, gaining experience with children aged 0 to 10. Spending every day with toddlers has made me highly adaptable and flexible in different situations.
I love playing with kids, whether it’s going to the park, attending storytime, visiting the zoo, or taking a walk to discover something fun! I can also introduce indoor activities like origami, calligraphy, and Japanese picture books, tailoring activities to suit your child’s age and interests.
As a Tokyo native, I know the city inside out and can guide you through popular areas like Shibuya, Shinjuku, Harajuku, and Asakusa. I also know many great restaurants and sightseeing spots, including conveyor belt sushi places, Don Quijote, Skytree, the Ghibli Museum, and Meiji Jingu. I can introduce you to fun Japanese experiences like karaoke, arcade games, purikura (photo booths), and more!
I have lived in the U.S. and Canada and traveled to Australia, New Zealand, Finland, and Spain. Having been warmly welcomed by locals during my travels, I now love sharing that same kindness with visitors in Japan.
I’d love to help create a stress-free, fun, and unforgettable experience for you and your family in Tokyo. Let’s plan something amazing together! Please feel free to reach out anytime.Ages Supported
