Such an amazing experience with rainbow care kids. We used Miho in Tokyo and Rio in Kyoto and they were both wonderful. We felt so comfortable leaving our 2.5 year old daughter on both occasions as she warmed up to them so quickly. They kept us updated where required and wrote us a detailed note on what they had done together during their time. Our daughter requested to see them both again the next day so we know she had a great time. The booking experience was also seamless. 10/10 experience and will definitely use again. The agency was very responsive via WhatsApp, making the entire process smooth and easy. They sent us a few sitter profiles to choose from, each with detailed bios and reviews. At first, we were a bit unsure whether the reviews were real since they’re hosted on the agency’s website, but after working with Miho, we can say without a doubt that they were spot on.
Miho was absolutely wonderful. She speaks perfect English, having raised children who attended international school in Japan, and was warm, kind, and incredibly patient with our two-year-old daughter. Since we were traveling light, she even brought toys with her and made sure to read our daughter’s favorite books that we had packed.
She went above and beyond by recommending an amazing indoor playground just a 10-minute walk from our hotel, which we ended up using a lot. She even took our daughter there herself. Miho followed all of our guidelines carefully, asked thoughtful questions, and clearly cared deeply about making our daughter feel safe and happy. She also wrote detailed daily summaries of what they did together, which we really appreciated.
Miho was flexible and accommodating when we needed last-minute extensions while we were out. We’ve used many babysitters over the years, both at home and while traveling, and Miho is hands down one of the best we’ve ever had.
