About Me
Hello! My name is Ayaka Fukuda, and I am 34 years old. I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, where I have lived my entire life. Being deeply immersed in Japanese culture has given me a profound appreciation for its traditions and unique experiences. I’m more than happy to share insights about Japanese culture and recommend tourist spots to ensure your family feels supported and engaged during your stay.
My passion for childcare began during my teenage years, inspired by my mother, who worked as an after-school teacher. When I was 19, I interned at an elementary school, caring for children aged 6 to 12. This experience encouraged me to pursue a career in early childhood education.
In my 20s, I worked as an au pair in Australia, providing attentive care to young children and further developing my skills and love for working with kids. For 10 years, I worked as a supply specialist, interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. This experience reinforced my belief that early childcare is essential for fostering happy, fulfilling lives. Following this, I worked as an early childhood teacher, utilizing right-brain education methods and teaching English for one year.
Now back in Japan, I am excited to offer flexible and personalized childcare services for traveling families. Whether it’s providing attentive care in your hotel, accompanying your family to magical destinations like Disneyland, exploring cultural landmarks, or engaging your children in fun activities at local parks, I aim to make your family’s experience in Japan seamless and memorable.
I love introducing children to fun and creative activities inspired by Japanese culture. These include origami, traditional games, simple crafts, calligraphy, and even tea ceremonies. Each activity is customized to match your child’s interests and energy levels, ensuring they feel comfortable, happy, and engaged throughout our time together.

Rainbow Kids Caregiver Ayaka came first as our Travel Buddy. She was amazing!! She helped navigate us to “Asabono!”, a kids indoor play area in Tokyo. She played with my two kids there and helped them along afterwards during their meal.
We also did the in room sitter option and Ayaka provided a very detailed report of how the kids’ night went. Each of my kids loved their time with her, they even ended up talking all the next morning about how great she was! She is so kind, knowledgeable and incredible with children.
Traveling with young kids can be tough but Rainbow Kids Care helped make it much easier and more enjoyable. So glad I found them. Highly recommend! -

First off, Rainbow Kids Care DOES have select babysitters who can watch infants, but you need to coordinate in advance. That was a relief! The service is a little pricey but worth every penny for the convenience and safety. They are responsive and their rules are clearly laid out. We had the absolute pleasure of having Ayaka watch our 4.5-month-old baby while we were visiting Japan, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
From the very beginning, Ayaka impressed us with her professionalism and warm demeanor. She arrived early, was well-prepared (asked me in advance for any specific instructions I had), and immediately put us at ease with her calm and caring presence.
Communication with Ayaka was fantastic—she kept us updated on WhatsApp while we were out, followed all of our instructions to the letter, and even took extra care to make sure our baby was comfortable and happy in an unfamiliar environment. It was clear she has a natural gift with babies, and our little one responded so well to her. I asked her to clean up all the baby stuff from the bed for us so we wouldn’t make a bunch of noise doing it when we got back and not only did she move it all, she organized it so neatly! After bedtime when it was calm she sent me a timeline report of the night.
Leaving your infant with someone new in a foreign country can be nerve-wracking, but Ayaka made it a completely stress-free experience. My baby enjoyed snuggling with her. She is trustworthy, attentive, and truly goes above and beyond. We feel so lucky to have found her and would not hesitate to hire her again.
