We had the pleasure of working with three wonderful babysitters during our trip to Japan, and each brought something unique and special to our experience as traveling parents.
Nina (Tokyo) was incredible with our 4-year-old and 7-year-old. She was easy to communicate with, punctual, and immediately put us at ease. The kids adored her—and we did too. They were well-fed, changed, and cared for, and we returned to sweet origami creations and thoughtful notes left for them to read the next morning. We were so grateful for the full update and the calm, capable energy she brought.
Anita (Osaka) cared for our kids over two nights and was impressively prepared and thoughtful. She asked for a detailed plan ahead of time, sent regular photo updates, and was so attentive to each child’s needs. She left behind sweet handwritten notes both nights, and her warm, gentle presence made a big impression on all of us. Her professionalism and care stood out and gave us total peace of mind.
Elisa (also in Osaka) had an intuitive, easygoing approach that the kids responded to instantly. She picked up on the flow of the evening without needing step-by-step direction, and kept us in the loop with just the right amount of updates. When we returned, the kids were peacefully asleep with calming music playing in the background. It was such a thoughtful touch and spoke volumes about how comfortable they felt with her.
We feel so lucky to have found such amazing caregivers in a foreign country—each one brought such care and ease to our travel experience. Highly recommend all three!
