About Me
Hi, I'm Mika, and I've been living in beautiful Kyoto for the past 15 years. For the last two and a half years, l've been working as a babysitter, caring for children of various ages.
I hold a professional babysitter training certificate and truly enjoy creating fun, safe, and enriching experiences for the families I support. My background includes experience as a junior high school teacher, as well as working in preschool and daycare settings.
These roles have helped me become a calm, adaptable, and warm caregiver who understands the importance of communication and trust when working with families especially those visiting from overseas.
One of my favorite activities to do with children is origami. I love teaching little ones how to fold paper creations, and I always welcome special requests. Just choose a favorite from a picture book, and we'll create it together. I also enjoy leading simple craft activities and spending quality time playing, laughing, and connecting with children.
I speak native Japanese and conversational English, and I always do my best to ensure every child feels comfortable and happy. Whether you need care in your hotel, someone to accompany your family for a day out, or simply a kind and reliable sitter to keep your child engaged, l'd be happy to support your family during your stay in Kyoto. I look forward to meeting you and spending joyful moments with your childAges Supported
