Hi, I’m Maiko 

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

I currently work as an English teacher at a preschool in Japan and also as a bilingual babysitter. I love spending time with children and creating a fun, safe, and comfortable environment where they can feel happy and relaxed.

I spent four years studying abroad in Switzerland and Massachusetts in the U.S. since I was 15 years old. Through those experiences, I developed strong English communication skills and learned to connect naturally with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

I’m cheerful, patient, easygoing, and creative, and I always try to help both children and parents feel comfortable during their time in Japan.

I also love sharing Japanese culture with visiting families. I enjoy introducing children to Japanese games, traditions, shrines, and fun cultural experiences in ways that are engaging and age-appropriate.

In my free time, I enjoy playing electric guitar, spending time with my dog, shopping, and visiting shrines and beautiful places around Japan.

I have been to Tokyo Disneyland many times, so I would also be happy to help your family have a smooth and memorable Disney experience.
