My name is Anita, and I am 25 years old. I was born in California to a Japanese mother and Mexican father, giving me a unique multicultural perspective. Three years ago, I moved to Japan to reconnect with my heritage, and I’ve loved immersing myself in its rich culture.

I studied tourism and hospitality in university, which gave me valuable insights into creating positive and seamless experiences for families. In addition to two years of experience teaching English to Japanese children, I also have experience babysitting during high school, which helped me develop patience, creativity, and a love for working with kids.

I’m passionate about theme parks and have visited many across Japan, including Universal Studios Japan and Tokyo Disneyland. If your family is planning a visit to one of these destinations, I can help ensure it’s a smooth and magical experience for everyone. During the outing, I can assist by taking the kids to explore age-appropriate attractions and kid-friendly areas, while the adults enjoy more thrilling rides or take some personal time. If the children need a break, I can bring them back to the hotel for a nap or some quiet time, ensuring everyone has an enjoyable and stress-free day.

I offer flexible childcare services tailored to your needs, whether it’s caring for your children in your hotel, accompanying your family on outings, or organizing fun and enriching activities. Safety, trust, and communication are at the heart of my approach. I aim to provide reliable, professional care that ensures your children feel happy and secure while giving you peace of mind.

I look forward to supporting your family and helping make your time in Japan truly memorable!

Anita was the perfect Sitter for us. She was on time, professional and accommodating. Allowed Mum and Dad to have a much needed date night out in Kyoto. Would not hesitate to recommend Anita to anyone needing support while on tour in Japan!

We had the pleasure of working with three wonderful babysitters during our trip to Japan, and each brought something unique and special to our experience as traveling parents.

Nina (Tokyo) was incredible with our 4-year-old and 7-year-old. She was easy to communicate with, punctual, and immediately put us at ease. The kids adored her—and we did too. They were well-fed, changed, and cared for, and we returned to sweet origami creations and thoughtful notes left for them to read the next morning. We were so grateful for the full update and the calm, capable energy she brought.

Anita (Osaka) cared for our kids over two nights and was impressively prepared and thoughtful. She asked for a detailed plan ahead of time, sent regular photo updates, and was so attentive to each child’s needs. She left behind sweet handwritten notes both nights, and her warm, gentle presence made a big impression on all of us. Her professionalism and care stood out and gave us total peace of mind.

Elisa (also in Osaka) had an intuitive, easygoing approach that the kids responded to instantly. She picked up on the flow of the evening without needing step-by-step direction, and kept us in the loop with just the right amount of updates. When we returned, the kids were peacefully asleep with calming music playing in the background. It was such a thoughtful touch and spoke volumes about how comfortable they felt with her.

We feel so lucky to have found such amazing caregivers in a foreign country—each one brought such care and ease to our travel experience. Highly recommend all three!

Lovely sitters with Anita in Kyoto, and Nina and Iris in Tokyo. Felt very comfortable leaving our 2 year old with them! Hope they are here next time we are in Japan.

We requested a babysitter with only a few days notice and Rainbow Kids Care were so helpful and quick to respond! Anita looked after our 18m old daughter for a few hours and it was fantastic! She arrived on time, listened and respected our instructions and our daughter immediately liked her, it was lovely to see them interacting together,  highly recommend Anita, and Rainbow Kids Care!

Had a great time with Anita!

Our time in Japan using Rainbow Kids Care was so seamless and easy. We were provided with a few different sitters, as we were there for about a month's time. Mai was incredibly helpful in finding us a sitter, even at the last minute.

All of our sitters (Anita, Iris, Nina, Maki and Martha) were timely, flexible, and got along well with our toddler. All sitters played a lot of hide and seek, and make believe. It was easy to communicate and they managed to have our child nap and go to sleep relatively easily. They were very accommodating for our extensions as well.

Anita brought her own books to read to our daughter for bedtime. They made a lot of origami together!

Nina managed to get our child to love baths by bringing her fun bath toys! She took her to many fun play places and let her borrow her colored pencils for the week.

Our daughter would light up whenever Iris would arrive! They went to the aquarium and parks together.

Maki got our initially hesitant daughter to warm up so quickly! They had so much fun together and she brought her a fun eye mask to wear for games and sleep.

Martha took our child to a local temple and park which was a fun cultural outing for her.

A big thank you to all of our sitters!
