I had a great experience with Rainbow Kids Care recently while on a trip to Japan. I had to attends meetings and conferences on two consecutive days, for a total of 15h, including meals, and bedtime routine. Communication with the company was clear, and they were very responsive. The babysitter, Kira, was great! My kids, 2 and 4, loved her! Before the first day, she contacted me to inquire about their preferred activities, schedule, etc... She then came fully prepared with activities and toys/materials based on our prior communication. She arrived on time, responded quickly to all communications, and I felt entirely safe leaving my children in her care. All in all, I highly recommend this service, and I would not hesitate to book Kira's services again on a future trip to Japan!

I am so pleased with finding Rainbow Kids Care. We were on vacation and have a special needs child and wanted to do a couple things that weren’t a good fit for him. I was very nervous because we never get babysitters for him given his high support needs and Rainbow Kids Care blew me away with their interest and attention to learn about him and his needs, and match us with the most wonderful sitters. He had so much fun and I was relieved to have him in incredible hands with Bita, Kira and Mana! Would highly recommend!! If we come back to Japan, I will absolutely use them again!!

Couldn’t recommend Rainbow Kids Care more highly! They were fantastic! The planning and updates ahead of the sitting service were timely and detailed. Mai went above and beyond to find a well suited babysitter for our two children. Our sitter arrived on time both days, she was very organised with toys that our children loved and was more than happy to help with all of their needs! She left a detailed summary for us and was very conscious in updating us before she left. A fabulous service!

Rainbow kids was responsive and was quickly able to find us a sitter during our last minute travels . We were assigned with Kira and was so lucky . She was so patient and kind and the kids loved her. We booked her for 9.5 hours . She made our trip memorable and special . Thank you Kira !

Rainbow Kids Care was incredibly helpful in helping us find the best sitter for our kids when we were on vacation. Kira was amazing and so kind and patient with our kids. They went to pickup pizza, played at the park and went to 7/11 for treats. My kids were comfortable with her right away and she help my husband and I feel so confident in our choice to have a date night.

Kira was an amazing babysitter for our almost two year old! He doesn't always warm up to new people but she got him to play happily with her right off the bat. She brought some toys with her that he loved, which was very thoughtful and really helped. She watched him at our hotel while we went out to dinner. Communication was excellent and rates were more than fair. I would highly recommend her and this service to any traveler! Wishing her luck with her studies and future endeavors

Outstanding Babysitting Service – Kira and Miho
We are a Japanese–American family currently living in the United States, and during our recent stay in Yokohama, we used the babysitting service at this hotel twice. It was truly one of the best decisions we made during our trip.
We had the pleasure of meeting Kira and Miho, and I cannot praise them highly enough.
Although they have completely different personalities, both of them were absolutely exceptional. From the very first meeting, our 18-month-old child immediately felt comfortable with them — which rarely happens. By the time it was time for them to leave, our little one actually cried because they didn’t want them to go! As parents, that says everything.
Their English skills were flawless, but what impressed us even more was their professionalism and attention to detail. They confirmed everything carefully in advance, communicated thoughtfully before and during the babysitting sessions, and provided incredibly attentive and loving care. We felt 100% at ease leaving our most precious family member in their hands.
Traveling internationally with a toddler can be stressful, especially when arranging childcare in a different country. Thanks to Kira and Miho, our stay in Yokohama became relaxing, joyful, and truly memorable. They exceeded every expectation we had.
We are already looking forward to using this service again during our next visit to Japan, and we sincerely hope we can request Kira and Miho again. They are outstanding professionals and wonderful human beings.

This was the best baby sitting experience ever- Eileen Kira and Nina were fantastic with our 4 rowdy kids. My kids keep asking me every day when Eileen is coming over. Will definitely use this service again when we come back to Tokyo

Kira was amazing! She arrived early and took great care of our little guy. Her communication was excellent and she even left us a nice note and summary of the evening. Highly recommend if you’re in need of a caring babysitter!

I’ve had multiple babysitters from Rainbow kids(Miho-san, Coco-san, Kira-san and some more that I cannot recall their names now..), they are all children-loving, caring and professional.

We booked Kira from Rainbow Kids Care for 4.5 hours so my wife and I could enjoy a rare dinner alone during our vacation in Tokyo — and she exceeded every expectation!
From the very beginning, Kira was incredibly proactive and professional. She reached out to us via WhatsApp weeks in advance to introduce herself, confirm details, and help us feel completely at ease. She followed up again in the days leading up to our booking just to make sure everything was in place.
When she arrived at our hotel, she immediately connected with our daughters (ages 3 and 5) and came prepared with fun activities like drawing supplies and origami. She even took them out to a local restaurant for dinner — something we felt totally comfortable with thanks to how warm, confident, and responsible she was. After dinner, she did more crafts with them and smoothly transitioned them to bedtime without a hitch.
Kira speaks perfect English (she lived in the US for a few years), so communication was effortless — and she related to our girls so naturally that they were talking about her for days afterward. They absolutely adored her!
We honestly wish we could bring her back to the States with us. If you’re visiting Tokyo and need childcare you can truly trust, look no further than Kira. She’s amazing! ❤️
