We had a wonderful experience with our babysitter Eiko! My kids absolutely loved her! She was so attentive and went above and beyond for them! My daughter was begging for another babysitting with her! Loved our experience! Thank you Eiko!!!
Eiko was a great babysitter for us. It was the first time we’d left our daughter while away and she made us feel really relaxed and Aya was in good hands. Would recommend!
We got our plans together a bit last minute and messaged rainbow kids the day before requesting care- they were able to find someone for us last minute on two occasions and were very accommodating with great communication skills. We really appreciated the ability/ option to have someone for a few hours with our kids. Eiko-san and Kumi-san were really fantastic and brought activities for the kids (3.5 and 14mos)

We were so happy Rainbow Kids Care was able to help us last minute. Our nanny Eiko was so patient and kind with our 3 year old son. We left money with her and she took our son to get snacks, dinner, and even found a nearby indoor playground to help him burn his energy! Every day of our trip our son would ask in the morning, “Is Eiko coming today?” We were so happy that he enjoyed spending time with her and we could be at ease knowing he was in great hands. We hope to visit again soon!
Couldn’t have had a better sitter than eiko when we were on vacation in japan. She came from osaka to sit for our kids at our hotel in kyoto. The hotel recommended the service. We enjoyed a much needed date completely stress free. She brought games and origami and sent updates. So great thanks!!
Eiko was friendly and confident, left me feeling very comfortable to leave my twins with her. She communicated frequently during her care period and provided detailed notes upon my return. You could tell Eiko genuinely cares for children and thinks of their needs
What an incredible service! I'm writing this review for Rainbow Kids Care and all their support during my family's trip to Japan in March of 2026.
We had three children in our group (my two sons, ages 4 & 6 and my nephew, age 7.) We planned a trip to Japan as a family, and over the course of our 10-day trip we wanted to go out on a few select nights and have some adult time while the kids slept.
I did some research, and found Rainbow Kids Care. We had three different nights we needed childcare in three difference cities in Japan. I coordinated the entire trip with Mai. She was very responsive, excellent communication with details, cost projections, and helping me schedule the service for the entire trip. Made the scheduling process so easy and answered every single question I had, and there were a lot of questions.
Night #1: Tokyo
Sitters: Hanna & Maki
Night #2: Kyoto
Sitters: Mika & Mei
Night #3: Osaka
Sitter: Eiko
Note, our nephew was not with us for this night, so Eiko handled both my kids only.
All five of the sitters communicated through what's app immediately after I completed the booking about a month in advance, and sent bios of themselves and templates to inquire about the kids, activities, schedules, any special notes, etc....
All five sitters then reached out a few days prior to our visit to review all the details, confirm the dates/times/location of the sitting and confirm the plan for that night.
Each sitter was in the lobby early and let me know they were on-site at the hotel/Ryokan when they arrived.
They all spoke perfect English and all the kids connected with them instantly!
Updates were sent throughout the night, amazing communication, and so comforting to know our kids were having fun, no issues and in-bed on time.
When we returned at the end of the nights, the kids were always sound asleep. Then we got a full comprehensive report from every single sitter summarizing the activities and timeline for the night. They worked on basic Japanese language skills, did origami and other art projects, played games together, etc....
I would 1000% recommend this service from Rainbow Kids. And if you're visiting any of the cities above, and your need a sitter that speaks English, please request any of the five sitters I mentioned above. Their professionalism was above and beyond anything I could have anticipated.

Rainbow Kids Care was essential to a wonderful last night in Japan. My wife and I wanted a date night before heading back home. We set up the babysitting service for Eiko to spend the evening watching our 2 children while we went out. It was great to have some communication with her before our date night. We were able to get the babysitters name and provide any instructions/information she needed to watch the kids.
We could tell right away that she was calm, professional babysitter and that our children were in good hands with her.
