Hello! My name is Rio, and I am 27 years old. I was born and raised in Osaka and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Health Science (Nursing) from a university in Kyoto. After graduation, I worked for three years as a registered nurse in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit).

I spent one year in Canada on a working holiday visa, where I worked as both a caregiver and babysitter while exploring the beautiful nature and culture. Supporting children and families brings me genuine joy, and I always feel honored to be part of their happy, meaningful moments together.

During my time in the NICU, I met many families facing challenging times. That experience taught me the importance of listening carefully and providing individualized care, since every family has different needs. I respect each child’s and family’s uniqueness and aim to provide the kind of care that feels most comfortable and reassuring for them.

I believe that children can truly smile and be happy only when their parents feel the same. My goal is always to make both parents and children feel safe, relaxed, and joyful.

While my professional expertise is in infant and toddler care, I also worked as an English tutor at a private language school, supporting students aged 6 to 17. In addition, I love introducing people to the beauty of Kyoto, where I studied and worked, and of course I know my hometown Osaka very well, including Universal Studios Japan! (Fun fact: I once worked as a wizard in Hogsmeade Village at USJ.)
