About Me

Hello! My name is Ayano Nakagawa, and I am originally from Nara, Japan.
Having lived in Germany with my German husband, I understand both the excitement and the challenges of spending time in a different country. My experience abroad taught me the importance of respecting different cultures, perspectives, and ways of life. I continue to improve my English so that I can communicate comfortably with international families and help them feel welcome, supported, and at ease during their time in Japan.
While living in Germany, I spent six months working as a babysitting assistant alongside my sister-in-law, who is a professional babysitter. I helped care for children by playing with them, supporting their daily routines, and creating a warm and enjoyable environment. This experience taught me the importance of understanding each child’s unique personality, feelings, interests, and individual pace. Seeing the children smile and enjoy our time together inspired me to pursue childcare as a career.
I would describe myself as warm, cheerful, patient, and caring. I love making children smile and creating a relaxed atmosphere where they can feel comfortable and be themselves. Depending on each child’s age and interests, I enjoy reading books, playing games, making crafts, and finding creative activities that match their personality and energy level.
One activity that is especially meaningful to me is origami. My grandmother has practiced origami for many years and began teaching me when I was young. I enjoy creating seasonal designs and would love to share this traditional Japanese craft with children. Through origami and other hands-on activities, I hope to introduce children to Japanese culture in a fun and memorable way, while helping them create a special souvenir to take home from Japan.
I am happy to provide flexible childcare tailored to each family’s needs, whether that means caring for your children at your hotel while you enjoy some personal time, playing and doing activities together, or accompanying your family during your stay in Japan.
Safety, trust, and clear communication are always my priorities. I aim to provide a warm and secure environment for every child while keeping parents informed so that they can relax and feel reassured. Above all, I hope to be someone your children look forward to spending time with and someone your family can genuinely trust.
I look forward to meeting your family and helping make your time in Japan happy, comfortable, and memorable!Ages Supported
