Hi, nice to meet you. My name is Ai.I was born and raised in the UK and come from a Japanese family, so I am bilingual in both English and Japanese. After graduating from college in the UK, I decided to move to Japan long-term last year.

I have professional babysitting experience as well as experience supporting children with English learning. I have cared for infants through to school-age children and have worked with a wide range of personalities and needs, including supporting children on the autism spectrum.

My experience includes daytime care as well as evening routines such as meal preparation, bath time, and bedtime. I am also happy to support families during hotel stays, sightseeing trips, or special outings.

As I live only one stop from Tokyo Disneyland, I can also assist families visiting the park by accompanying children, helping navigate the park, and ensuring they stay safe and engaged.

Being bilingual, I am also happy to assist with translation and help families feel more comfortable navigating everyday situations in Japan.

I adjust my caregiving style depending on each child’s personality. I can be calm and reassuring when needed, but also energetic and playful when children want someone to have fun with. I believe it is important for children to feel heard and understood, and by listening carefully and responding with patience, I help them build confidence and express themselves comfortably.

I am confident in following family routines and communicating clearly with parents. I enjoy engaging children in activities such as outdoor play, creative crafts, reading, and games.

In my free time, I enjoy sports including boxing, netball, and swimming, as well as cooking, baking, and playing the piano. I also enjoy travelling and challenging myself with new experiences, which has helped me become open-minded and adaptable.

My goal is to create a calm, fun, and supportive environment so parents can relax knowing their children are in safe and caring hands.
